Lindiwe Suttle - Enough (Set Us Free)

When Lindiwe Suttle first heard about the Nigerian school girls who have been abducted by Boko Haram, like most of us, she was outraged. While most people expressed their outrage on social media, she decided to express her frustrations by completing a song she had been writing called 'Enough (Set Us Free)'. She was initially inspired to write the song after helping a rape survivor.

When she reached out to me and asked me to be part of one of the scenes of the music video for the song, I knew I would shuffle my plans to take part. I have believed in the power of music for a long time. It manages to get people to resonate with messages they would otherwise ignore. Knowing the time and effort required to produce a song and music video, I think it is wonderful that Lindiwe decided to do this. The video was filmed by the Greenback Media Group, and they did a great job.

I am just a face in the crowd, so blink and you'll miss - but check out Enough (Set Us Free) below:

I find it bizarre and outrageous that we are still waiting for them to #BringBackOurGirls... It saddens me that children are still used as collateral - and suffer for things that have nothing to do with them.
